It's refreshing to see an MM YA novel with very present and supportive parents, a good guy/girl friendship, important family values, a bisexual guy that isn't hypersexualized or flirty with everyone ( that seems to be the personality of most bisexual males in ya romances lately..) and of course seeing religion, especially Mormon religion being a main focus without it being bashed or slaughtered. Also great to see this relationship having its difficulties without there being tons of angst.

It was just... refreshing. And very enjoyable. Well done writers!
