Stork by Wendy Delsol
5.0

I wasn't really sure what to think of Stork when I picked it up. I know this probably going to get a mean comment or two- but I am really not the biggest fan of babies in my books. It is just not something I would prefer to read about. But I love all things magical and magic plus some mystery sounded too good for me to pass up. I am so glad that I gave Stork a try. I loved it!! It was seriously great.

I devoured this book so fast. I started reading and before I knew it, I was done. Looking back I wish I had went a little slower so I could still be reading Stork. I couldn't help myself though, I was that absorbed in the story. Katla was such a cool character. I liked that she wasn't perfect. She was opinionated, stubborn, and maybe a little stuck up about clothes and accessories. And I loved everything about her. Too many books now have perfect main characters, which is not realistic. I liked that Katla was a little snobby. It made her realistic.

And oh boy did I like Jack. He seemed so distant at first and I was instantly intrigued. I wanted to know his story! And Wendy Delsol made me wait until almost the end of the book to finally figure him out. But he was a great character- strong, dependable, cute, and mysterious. Just like Katla got under Jack's skin, he got under my skin. For the whole story I could not shake him.

I just read the description for book 2, Frost, and I need to read it ASAP! I already know I am going to hate this new girl and I am dreading seeing Jack led astray. I need to see how this will all turn out. This has all the makings of being an awesome trilogy! I can't wait to see what is in store next for the Storks, Katla and Jack. Wonderful book- go read it now!1
