This book was incredibly well made especially for it's time, and is impossible to not compare to today in some places (I read the part about American made goods two days after one of Trump's big announcements about tariffs). I also really enjoyed the end of it, much more than I enjoyed the beginning - it really didn't pick up until about page 200-250, in my opinion. Its pretty tough to get through, and very slow, but especially for something written in 1930 it's incredibly accurate and almost alarming to read (but I think necessary).
