This is a cute story about a crocodile and his friends at the beach. The children in my classroom are 2 and 3 years old. My 2 year olds were not very interested in the story, or the pictures, but my 3 year old enjoyed the pictures. The story was a little advanced for my kiddos, but it would be perfect for children ages 4 and up. The encouragement and friendships shown towards the crocodile are cute and easily understood by my 2 and 3 year olds. I will not be using this story in my classroom, but if I had a preschool, first or second grade class, this would be great in my curriculum to teach about acceptance, encouragement, bravery and friendship. The pictures were a little too confusing for my kids, but older children will love looking at all the little details, the animals, and the "hidden" images.
