Wow first off I can’t believe this book doesn’t have a higher overall rating because I absolutely inhaled it!
It was the perfect blend of thriller and horror for me. It’s gripping from the first chapter right till the end.
The twist at the end is so unexpected that I had to reread that part just to be sure that I didn’t imagine it!
I highly recommend checking the trigger warnings for this book before picking it up. A lot of the parts had me squirming and wondering why I’m even reading this. However, I enjoy reading the macabre nature of societies. This book doesn’t hold back punches when describing what exactly it is when someone is in a cult.
A lot of it felt completely impossible but then I thought of Epstein and P.diddy etc. and all of a sudden it doesn’t feel fiction at all.
I’m a fan of this author! I will probably read anything she writes!
