I wanted to like this more than I ended up actually liking it.

I'm not sure what it was exactly but these characters just felt very flat compared to Diana Quincy's other books that I've read so far. Maybe because the story was way more centered around the murder mystery plotline? I just didn't feel the chemistry at all between Hanna and Griffin.

I was more interested in Hanna's brother's secret little rendezvous that maybe took up 5 pages in total.

Oh well. I have much higher hopes for the 3rd book in this series!
