Children of immigrants will be able to relate a lot to this book. I was intrigued by the characters, complex relationships, and Preeti’s journey back to her roots. This book highlighted the intricacies of intercultural communication, such as individualism vs. collectivism, which anyone who has experienced a different culture can understand. I breezed through this highly enjoyable story.
