I love this series and think that it improves with each instalment, this one was the best in the series.
It's not the typical cozy mystery, the characters are not pretty young things but woman who are "damaged" and are healing.
It's like reading a good women's fiction book with a mystery.
There're strong elements like friendship, sufferance and healing and support.
I loved the realistic description of the town that has to face the economic problems, people pawning their heirlooms to survive.
I loved the characters, each of them, even if flaw, damaged or suffering.
I loved the mystery that kept me guessing till the end.
This is one of my favorite cozy series and it met all my expectations even if they were quite high.
