It feels like I haven't read some honest sword and sorcery fantasy in a g e s... Spiderlight is sword and sorcery, and it's honest, in fact a lot more honest than the usual s&s books. It's morally ambiguous and it's rough, unpolished, and nobody gets a free pass just because they're a hero. Clearly influenced by the Dragonlance books, it felt like visiting an old friend and finding out they've changed just enough for you to still get along just as well as you did ten years ago
