If Kristin Cashore writes something, sign me up to read it. I love this Graceling world so, so, much. I didn't re-read the series prior to reading this one because I wanted to see if it made sense if you haven't read the first three. I think it does, although you definitely would get a deeper understanding from reading the prior books. I loved learning about a new land and what its rules and lore are. It took me a while to like the character Lovisa. As you learn about her life, you understand how she got to be the way she is.

Also, I wish we had the preventative tea in the real world.
