This book is absolutely amazing in the first half. It lost me a bit in the second half a lot of the stuff I felt was being repeated that was needed, although it also added an interesting perspective on a situation from the eyes of a different person. Telling you who that person is and whose perspectives we are talking about would be a spoiler so I will not mention it.
This book is an examination of how any person is not all good, or all bad, but 1 million shades of Grey. It is about the test of a marriage, and how parenthood affects the marriage, it is about how far you will go for your children for your wife for your husband and whether or not you will sacrifice your husband for your children and vice versa.
For me the characters of the book are on the edge of being relatable and unbelievable. There are dimes during the narration that I could imagine these characters being people I’ve come across my life, but then they would go and do something absolutely unexpected and I would wonder who would do that.
Overall, this is a fun book to read on a weekend.
