I can’t put into words how creative this book is. Structuring the book like a “Choose-Your-Own-Adventure” novel to tell a time travel story and using the joys (and frustrations) of that format to demonstrate how your characters think is absolutely *brilliant*.

The story afterwards is great too, with our protagonist’s recklessness finally coming back to bite him as he visits The Aviary and draws the attention of Morningstar. I’m continually impressed by the books in the “Supermassive-verse” and I can’t wait to read more. Highly recommended.
