This book was horrifically boring, and I don’t know how or why I made myself get through it. I remember reading Lamb over over a decade ago and absolutely loving it, but I legit can’t comprehend how he even got a second book published with this novel as his debut. I’m glad he eventually got around to creating something as good as Lamb, but it’s shocking to me these two books are by the same author cuz I didn’t laugh once reading PD.
