This first book in The Antonides Legacy series is dear to my heart because of how long I spent writing it and its sequels. It was my first project towards becoming and seeing myself as a writer and while it has many many flaws lol it has heart and imagination that I still really enjoy after twenty years. I released the entire trilogy in 2020 but had been writing it since 2006.
In many ways, Trista is me in that she is (as i was) a sheltered young woman who finally grows into her own. While I may not be a long lost princess (here's hoping!) I did grow into the person i'd always wanted to be and releasing these books, sharing my work and my passion with the world was the first step towards doing that.
I hope that many can enjoy my work as it currently stands and who knows, a special, revamped edition may appear in the future!
