Damn. This was amazing. Jason Reynolds writes Will's story, the majority of which happens in less than two minutes spent in an elevator. Beautifully real in its rendition of the characters, this novel in verse is a YA must read, but not just for young readers. It's for anyone facing a tough situation where they think they know what they're supposed to do... right? Also, the layout of the book itself deserves its own recognition for being awesome.
