I love a romance book with a little bit more to offer and this one hit all the good points! Normal life with a touch of magic, the premise of this book was so fun. I enjoyed seeing growth in Clementine and all of her interactions with Iwon. I loved each character individually and all their fun quirks. It was so interesting to think about where they were in time and when they may have come in contact with each other. I feel like grief and loss were portrayed so well in this book and it hits harder after hearing the authors note at the end about her losing her grandpa to suicide as well. I am so happy they got a good ending and didn’t end up like Clementines aunt and vera.
