I was expecting a lot from this book and thankfully I wasn't disappointed at all! 

These stories were not your typical horror stories with ghosts or serial killers running around, but what made them so chilly was this incompleteness they all had. For example, in the titular story it wasnt clear who (or what) exactly this houseguest was, and over the course of the short story I had about 5 different theories, each creepier than the other.

As is expected, of course, some stories were better than others but overall this was a chilling, macabre, and all around stellar collection of short stories.
