The Lake House by Kate Morton
4.0

As per usual with Kate Morton, this book weaves the past and the present together to create a truly unique story.
1933 Cornwall - Theo Edevane has gone missing from his crib during a midsummers eve celebration never to be seen again
2003 London - Sadie Sparrow is forced to take leave from the police when she becomes too involved in a case. She goes to stay with her grandfather in Cornwall where she stumbles across an abandoned estate and the mystery of the Edevane disappearance.
Beautifully crafted as always with an ending I only was able to half figure out. I was happy to see something surprise me because I had parts of the story figured out before they were revealed or made obvious!
