Petruchio's and Kate's intelligent, quick-witted dialogue that they exchanged constantly made me laugh throughout the play. The character of Kate is strong, clever, and independent, a heroine to admire and yet feel intimidated by. I like the fact that the ending is open to interpretation on whether Kate has been 'tamed' or not.
