The Shooting Gallery
by Yūko Tsushima
I liked this just fine. Tsushima has rhythm to her writing that, once you catch it, feels like a race to the end. I appreciate her deeply contemplative outlook on romance, a woman's place within the lives of men, and love, mostly familial, which is ironic considering who her dad was...
for me, this serves as a solid intro to Tsushima, and from what I've seen, she's got much better work than this collection. looking forward to more.
