I ended up reading this one almost in one sitting. It's the story of a messy queer romance, Sometimes I wasn't sure entirely why Freddie was so into Laura Dean when Laura was such a mess, but haven't most of us had relationships like that? I also loved Freddie's friend group, who seemed to know that Laura wasn't great for Freddie but didn't entirely know how to tell her that, which also feels right to me for high school. I read it almost all in one sitting.
