Zenn Diagram by Wendy Brant
4.0

**You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs: https://bookbriefs.net**Zenn Diagram is ayoung adult magical realism novel by Wendy Brant. Zenn Diagram was a super cute read that I quickly finished in one setting. It left me with a big smile on my face. It kind of reminded me of the last magical realism book I read, and loved, The Secret of Heart Note. It was an adorable, quick and light hearted read.

Zenn Diagram is the story of Eva, who is a big math lover. I found Eva totally adorable. All on her own, but when you add in her unique gift she became extra interesting. You see, Eva can touch someone and know their thoughts and feelings. But what is even cooler, she can touch an object and know someone's emotions and experiences as it pertains to that object. For example, she can touch someone's graphing calculator and figure out what area of math is giving them troubles and is able to help them really easily. She makes a kick butt math tutor. Seriously, I thought this was the cutest thing. The book starts with her tutoring sessions. And then she meets Zenn. A dark and mysterious guy that she clicks with instantly.

The interesting thing about Zenn is that his and Eva's relationship is both super cute and kind of awkward. Cute because they seem to like each other really quickly and watching them joke and flirt was adorable. But awkward because Eva can't touch people, without being exposed to all their secrets (even though this is different with Zenn) and she gets a dark awful feeling from touching a piece of his clothing, so that makes her anxious. Not to mention Zenn has his own mysterious things going on. But still they can't seem to stay away from each other. I don't think I am doing a very good job of explaining this book, but it is a really cute love story. I totally enjoyed the character interaction and the writing.

Bottom line: If you are looking for a cute romance with a dash of magical realism thrown in, Zenn Diagram is a great book for you to check out. If you are looking for a day of lighthearted fun, this is the book for you. I loved reading Zenn Diagram.
