I was so excited to get this on my kindle. I loved books by these authors and could not wait to read this one. This book started slow for me. I didn't have a connection to the characters till about 30% into the book but when that hit I could not put it down. The emotions I went through reading this book and the twists the authors took us on I was not expecting some of them but I guessed some.
The Timekeeper can rot in hell for what he put all of these people through not just the main characters but all the ones behind Everly’s wall. The relationship that Issac and Everly built was so beautiful they were destined to find each other. I can not imagine the trauma they have both survived for Issac his entire life and for Everly the 2 years kept in captivity. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ the scene with the lap dance was 🥵 but also so many more moments for this couple were spicy. The Chloe and Nick scene and the intense scene in her apartment you can see these 2 were meant for each other.
There is so much I can say about this book but I don't want to spoil it for you. If you liked Still Beating I think you will like this book. Also so excited for more books in this world definitely would love a Tanner book and possibly an Allison book but would like to see her more in future as she deserves some redemption.
Happy reading everyone 📚
