I went back and forth on liking the FMC. For someone who is a writer and creates characters that are outside of herself and have a difference experience than herself, she sure is closed minded on a number of things. The emotional anger that flared in her and took root and then became stagnate was frustrating.

Both characters seemed to become flat mid way through the book and became stuck. They both just stopped growing and when their relationship changed, it didn't feel right. Like, I wasn't excited by it because it didn't seem that either character grew or moved that way.

I guess there just wasn't enough character development and it was frustrating.
