Super cute book exploring the dynamics of preteen and teenage children and their parents in a time period when talking about things like puberty and sex were actively discouraged, yet kids were expected to just "know" what was appropriate or inappropriate. Great exploration of health scares of the early 1950s and how it impacted families, such as Sally's, as well.
