Okay, I have a lot to say. First, I want to thank NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this book in exchange of an honest review. But this book was not for me. Not at all. So, I think the thing is that the novella format is not a good thing for a romance. I mean, it was so short, we did not get any real character development. But honestly, the characters were not a good part. I mean, the lovers did not have chemistry. Monica only has some with her grandpa, who is not an MC.
The book is too short for the plot to really develop. Also, miscommunication, why not, but with a less than 100 pages book, big no.
So yes, I didn't like it.
Gave it two stars because at least it was a short reading that can be fun at some point.
