Overall a really good read and completely worth purchasing a physical copy. Reminiscent of the humour I remember from A Series of Unfortunate Events (even within the back cover blurb and the inside flap description).
The writing was somewhat repetitive in word choice (the repetition of 'bewildering' was not for me), buy otherwise I loved the use of repetition in other ways.
Throughout I wished I recognized more of the literary/pop culture references, so the notes section was very helpful.
