Thank you to the lovely people at NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the ARC!

Overall I really loved this book! It was a fast paced read with so many twists and turns that I couldn't seem to put it down. I haven't read any of Erica Spindler's books before, or any psychological thrillers, so I wasn't really sure what to expect going in. I was understandably blown away when this book took me on an insane journey.

The plot and characters were riveting and complex. Each character has at least one secret, if not more, that causes them to fall under suspicion at least once throughout the course of the novel. Every single character is flawed in some way, making them feel extremely realistic. The plot doesn't hold back, with extreme twists and turns around every corner. While I was able to predict who the killer was, it wasn't until they revealed it during the climax that I was able to pinpoint their motive.

My biggest issues were the insta-love romance between Sienna and her neighbor, which felt unrealistic and unnecessary to the story. That and the fact that there were a few times throughout the novel that the narration and voice just felt off. It felt as though it was being done by a much more amateur writer, which detracted slightly from my immersion and didn't feel in line with the rest of the book at all.

Overall though, I really enjoyed this and will definitely be picking up other books by Erica Spindler in the future.
