WOW! Haas does it again!!

I had to sit and think carefully about rating this book. I loved every page of this novel, but there was a part of me that felt that Dangerous Girls was better. Then I realised that actually, they are both flipping fantastic books that need to be acknowledged and loved separately!

This is such a dark, complex and intriguing story. I love that we start out by knowing the main details. A fire, a stabbing, a dead body and Chloe. The question throughout the novel is 'What the hell actually happened here?' and the novel does not let you down!! The characters are wonderfully complex, the story is perfectly written, the story twists and turns constantly.

Another book I just couldn't put down! I'm 100% confident that I would read anything Haas publishes. Mystery books weren't really big on my agenda until I read these two, now I'm desperate for more! Amazing!
