leigh bardugo: 4.5/5. super sweet. i loved their relationship
nina lacour: 3/5. all of nina lacour’s writing that i have read has been very mediocre.

libba bray: 3.5/5. it was definitely very weird, but i thought it was cute and sweet. the weirdest part, though, was that the main character’s name was kevin

francesca lia block: 2/5. it definitely wasnt a horrible story i just hated the writing style, and i could never imagine wanting to be with someone with a mohawk

stephanie perkins: 4.75/5. i am nothing if not a stephanie perkins stan. and that’s that on that. 

tim federle: 4/5. i’ve never read anything by this author. the story was very well written, but i did not like kieth. matty deserved so much better☹️

veronica roth: 5/5. super cute and sweet. very creative idea. i loved it. i could read a whole series of books based on this concept

jon skovron: 1.5/5. i HATED the writing. the dialogue was some of the most cringey ive ever read. i have never read this author before and frankly, i dont want to read any more of his work. the only thing i liked was the story concept. if a different writer had written it, this story could be 5/5. 

brandy colbert: 2.5/5. very average. mediocre writing. the two main characters were somewhat endearing but the pacing of them getting together was weird. 

cassandra clare: 4.25/5. it was actually a really cute cassandra clare story. i thoroughly enjoyed it; it just wasn’t anything super special. 

jennifer e smith: 5/5. literally so adorable. im obsessed. i want a whole book about it right now. i love griffin. he is my dream man

lev grossman: 4/5. ive never read lev grossman, and ive heard bad things, but this was really cute and the premise was very creative
