The Meeting Point had a cute premise in theory. It was giving You've Got Mail Vibes, so I was intrigued going in, but unfortunately it just didn't work for me for a few reasons.

I really didn't like Maya as our main character. She came across as whiney and annoying a lot of the time. The way she treated people annoyed me, and her snap judgements of people had me so annoyed.

The entire beginning of the story was an issue for me. While they had some cute banter during their text conversation, the whole time I was internally screaming 'please don't let them fall in love over a few text messages over the course of one day' but oops... they did.
And I dislike instalove so much, but especially in this case when they hadn't even met in person! She didn't even know basic facts about him like his age.

I also found it very predictable.

There were some cute banter moments later on in the book, but overall there was just way too much miscommunication, it leaned on intalove too much and it just wasn't the kind of romance that works for me personally.
