A Conjuring of Light
by V.E. Schwab
4.5 I loved this book just as much as the previous ones. However, it being the end of the trilogy, it highlighted some of the issues of the previous two books. Or the trilogy as a whole. This was an amazing story set in a unique world with characters that you could really feel. But I think they way each book in the trilogy was written plot wise could have done with some rearranging. Its hard to explain here but I think a longer series where the bad guys could have been fleshed out more and relationships more natural seeming.
One thing I did not like was the issue with the Veskans and the Faroans. That definitely deserved its own book and focus. I would have also loved to know more about Kell's past, cliche as that may be. But its one of the many mysteries left behind at the end of this book. Though I respect his decision.
