This book isn't about being happy all the time, but about finding and maintaining a healthy emotional equilibrium. Nothing in this book is new, necessarily, it's just all in one place with scientific study citations and an actual 8 week plan at the end, so it's more useful. It's a hair on the dry side, as Dr. Weil is more of an academic personality than a comedian, but it wasn't too bad.
