I can’t tell why I didn’t rate this higher. The book is original, a book within a book is always a favorite trope, the characters were fine and their interactions were fun and credible, it was smutty with a bossy MMC in bed, and yet it took me forever to finish it. The book simply never grabbed me in a chokehold and I cannot understand why. Maybe right book wrong time? 
I definitely think people should read it, as I said it is objectively a great book, I just didn’t vibe with it enough to rate it higher but I still had fun reading it
