I picked up The Getaway at my local library and am so happy I did. It was unique and creative. Saying something w/o saying something. It was so well written and gives you many themes to chew on. I only hope the world gets it's act together because this book has too many relatable aspects. The characters scream YA, but definitely need be mature to read and grasp the concepts. Goes to show you rich people only look out for their own self interest and even then their in a hierarchy. Also money can get you just about anything, but at some point there are consequences. I wonder if the known is better than the unknown. Guess if there is a book 2 we will find out. I would definitely be up for reading it. Check out my Youtube channel to see more thoughts.
