The story is simple, but charming in its simplicity. It’s fun seeing some familiar faces and I really enjoy this take on Brainiac and how his take on preserving life differs from Superman’s. Obviously, if you have any sort of nostalgia for the Reeves Superman movies you’re going to love this book, but if your looking for a simple Superman story to give to a young reader, I think this would make a great gift!
