My Unexpected Family by Harlow James
5.0

I received an arc in exchange for an honest review

I absolutely loved this novel and found that it was the perfect ending for the series. I am not one who usually enjoys the unexpected pregnancy trope but it is Harlow James so I am in no way surprised that she delivered and I loved Chloe's and Silas story arc.

The story follows them after Chloe gets pregnant after a one-night stand, despite protection, and how they handle this situation when both of them never wanted a long-term relationship or a family for that matter.

I loved how Silas cared for Chole and tried everything in his power to make her comfortable and feel beautiful. He tried to understand her and help her in every way possible while still giving her, her freedom. Chloe is an extremely open and out-spoken person and I loved that about it. She never shied away from voicing what she wanted and making clear that she is her own person.

It was really fun to see the characters from the first two books in the series again and see how their interactions had changed. The epilogue was everything and I flew through the whole book in one sitting. I loved the writing style and how beautifully the chemistry between Silas and Chloe was described.
