It was fun to read this holiday book about Hanukkah and celebrating heritage. I'm not Jewish myself but I appreciate getting to know more about these people and their customs.
Abby is tasked with putting together a Hanukkah festival but keeps getting bullied into "making it more Christmas". Oh the bully lady made me so mad... Hanukkah is a separate holiday, get it through your head! (So glad when Abby finally got the courage to put her foot down.
Abby gets Seth, her annoying sunshine personality coffee customer to help, but in return she has to pretend to be his girlfriend.
I loved Seth's Mom and Dad. They were nice people and they are such a stark contrast to Abby's parents who were just awful people from the stories she told. I love how Abby grew through the story. Seth was such a stalwart guy by her side and the falling in love was just the best. The conversation between Seth and his dad that Abby overhears, I loved it!
