3.5-4 stars. It feels almost *wrong* to rate the final volume of Proust considering it’s a classic that has so many elements that were fairly groundbreaking at the time. If I was rating this for its cultural value and innovation it’s be 5 stars. For my actual enjoyment it’s a 3.5 so I’m giving it 4. This volume is a culmination of everything that came before it and is a bit speedier than the other volumes.
