Flawed
by Cecelia Ahern
I picked up this book a few hours ago and could NOT put it down until I finished it! It's definitely the best thing I've read this year.
Fans of the genre will find it similar to The Hunger Games and The Scarlet Letter. But what you'll also find is flawless writing that sucks you in. Celestine could be any of us...wanting to follow the rules but finding that sometimes being human means living outside of them. And sometimes that means people will judge you, harshly.
I'm frustrated with where it ended but mostly because I want more, now. We found out some interesting info about one of the characters, Carrick, who seems to be an enigma at the moment. I need to know more about it story!
Ignore the majority of reviews...They have genre burnout and aren't seeing the work as it's meant to be. If you have the chance to see Cecelia talk about her writing process for Flawed, definitely do. Definitely pick this one up. You won't regret it.
