Peter Pan [Audible Drama] by J.M. Barrie
4.0

A magical, endearing listen. . . This was absolutely wonderful. I know once upon a time I've been read Peter Pan though I don't really recall it and I've seen numerous films, but this audio production was definitely the most enjoyable experience. The narration was beautifully done by the entire cast and I even teared up near the end. There were things in the story I wished Barrie had touched on more such as Tiger Lily and her Lost Girls, but otherwise a really entertaining story all around. I also like how the differences between Tiger Lily and Wendy show there's no wrong way of being a girl and how Wendy calls out the emotional burden of duty, responsibility, etc. being placed on her as 'mother' while Peter didn't do the same as 'father' and was seen by the 'kids' as the 'fun parent'. An issue still too common today in relationships especially where they have children.
