This is supposed to be a Greek classic but I gave up after 25 pages because the protagonist blames her lack of sexual desire on her mother being a prostitute, which she was forced into because her husband (who hated her) died and without the money her daughter would starve. Really not the kind of perspective towards sex work I enjoy, bye, Karagatsis.
