TJR does it again and just rips my heart in two with this story! If any of you are of my generation and also loved the movie Pearl Harbor for it's less than accurate but heartbreaking portrayal of a woman and her two loves, this has a similar storyline. Our MC is in love and married to her high school sweetheart, until one day his helicopter goes down and all on board are presumed dead. A few years later she moves through her grief and learns to love again. Soon after they get engaged, however, she receives a call that her husband was found alive and is coming home. Throughout the story you see her wrestle with the fact that she has two one true loves and what to do about that. It was sad and lovely all at the same time, as I've come to expect from the author.
