This is such a beautifully crafted book with seamless plot formation that kept me engaged from the very beginning.
Circus and Rowan are flawed but strong characters that sent me on an emotional rollercoaster so I couldn’t help falling in love with them.
Rowan has so much emotional angst for just wanting to be his authentic self, still carries the baggage from his toxic relatives and an incident 5 years prior that involved Circus.
The chemistry between them is undeniable and when it combusts the heat levels hit high which is all part of the ride they have before finally getting their well earned HEA which they really had to fight for.
A wonderful cast of secondary characters keep things interesting, including those relatives!
This is a book that touches your heart, had me cheering for Rowan and Circus and smiling stupidly for them at the end.
It is the second book in the Never Just Friends series but can standalone.
