A Good Girl's Guide to Murder
by Holly Jackson
This was a really fun, fast paced, YA mystery. Pippa is a high school girl, who decides investigate a 5 year old local murder as her senior project. To enjoy this story, you definitely need to be able to suspend your belief, but I don't usually have a problem with this. I obviously don't want to give too much detail and spoil anything, but just know, this very smart 17 year old girl is about to do some really stupid shit (blackmail, breaking & entering, putting herself alone in a room with murder suspects, abusers and drug dealer galore) I am queen of guessing plot twists & endings, but I got this one wrong on my initial guess.
Overall, this was a quick, easy read and I had a good time. I am not running to the bookstore, but will most likely continue the series!
