This was so engrossing... I'd find myself reading it in huge chunks before pausing for a breath. Such a beautifully written story, and even the youngest and the most minor of characters are richly complex. I found myself deeply invested in their lives and stories. This is an incredible debut, and I'm so excited to read her next book.
