This series is super cheesy, which is generally a-ok with me when it's what I'm looking for. The biggest complaint I have is that the author has created a bad ass setting, a conspiracy-ridden plot, and some cool and different witchcraft abilities and she doesn't use any of them enough. The relationship is obviously the main point of the novels, but connection to those characters would be bolstered by a little more world-building. Otherwise it's just your basic romance novel.
