The Girl Who Died
by Ragnar Jónasson
2.5/3.
Thrillers aren't usually my thing, so I'm sure that those who love them will probably think higher of this book but I found it lacking.
The characters had little to no depth to them. I found the main character quite boring, I wanted more from someone who had had quite a tragic life. I wanted to feel something for her, but sadly felt nothing. I didn't feel chilled at all by any of the events as they unfolded and found it rather bizarre to include dialogue of a character that held no real substance to the story and had no conclusion.
Overall I wanted more twists and turns, I wanted more depth to the characters and I wanted to be left on the edge of my seat. And sadly that didn't happen.
