Let me start by saying I love this author she is one of my favs. Like most of VCM books I think this is great bookclub book, great for discussion. I would love to hear the different perspectives.

I have so many thoughts and emotions concerning this book. This book was a little predictable and really almost unrealistic, it really reminded me of her 1st book Temptation. I would have loved to see a different angle taken with this book. This would have been a great opportunity to talk about therapy really addressing Tiffani’s issues and thoughts. I would have also liked for Tiffani to have spoke to someone with Wisdom to help her navigate the issue.

I think I had an issue with every character except the villain he the only one that did his job. Maybe that is the revelation we be so caught up but the enemy is focused, calculated, and on his job. Really I feel like it could have been a shorter book, even though it kept me engaged until the end.

Some of the things I took issue with that I wish was dealt with....
1. the main topic the lust it wasn’t really dealt with, just because the obstacle was blocked I still don’t feel it was completely dealt with.
2. Tiffanie. Oh Tiffanie. The instant lust I just didn’t get. Like as things progressed I understand but the enemy to lust perspective I didn’t connect with. Also where was Tiffanie’s support system. I mean you went to an HBCU and didn’t have any friends. Ok
3. Tiffanie’s best friend, all I can say is she is not I friend I would want to have. I didn’t understand her role at all.
4. Then Damon the husband, all I can say is he wasn’t on his job. Lol
