The Sun is Also a Star was kind of a disappointment in a way.

Their was nothing wrong with this book. I just really didn’t enjoy it. Or enjoy it as much as Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon, which I read about 2 months ago (I think)?

I liked the characters, and the whole story line itself.

I’m really not one for instalove, but I think it was done fairly well in this book.

I really didn’t like the backstories that went into this book. Now some of them were cute and interesting to read about, a lot of them went out of context and were unnecessary in my personal opinion.

But, against their wasn’t really anything wrong with this book. It just wasn’t...Great? And it was really basic. I’m definitely going to read more of Nicola Yoon’s work because it’s sweet and easy to get though, but I really just didn’t love this book ):
